SAVE Water

Let’s do our part, let’s love the environment, love our future and use water responsibly.

We may be used to consume water as if it is something that we will never run out of. We open the faucet and it runs whenever we need. All this may come to an end if we don’t take care of the environment and the way we use water. Water exploitation and long periods of drought caused by climate change are dramatically reducing water reservoirs outside the ground and deep under.

Every Drop Counts

Don’t let the water run when you don’t need it: washing the dishes, brushing teeth or taking a shower.

Use your dishwasher and washing machine when they are full. Run as less washing cycles as possible.

Dish Washer

Brush away tough dirt from dishes and cutlery with a brush (not using water) before placing them in the dishwasher

Cleaning Materials

Clean using a bucket of water and a sponge or brush rather than running water.

Each one of us can find more ways to save water in our everyday life: be responsible and think about how you are using water! Here following some extra examples:

  • don’t throw stuff in the toilet and then flush it

  • don’t use water to remove soil or leaves from your porch, use a broom instead
